Volunteering
So I just got home awhile ago. I went off earlier and did my volunteer thing at Goodwill/Easter Seals. I had to pull files and check to see if the person was verified as being disabled and then mark on the sheet either OK, NO or ?. Most of the people were ?s. But there were a few NOs and OKs.
I got to the Ds I think it was before it was time to go.
The lady I've been doing this for is VERY nice. Easy to get along with.
And very appreciative.
Reminds me of when I was working in the HR dept. at G.E.
After I left I went to Aldi and did some shopping. I was going to buy stuff to make a pot roast in the slow cooker but they didn't have the right meat for that. Guess I'll have to buy the stuff at Kroger in a few days.
Bummer- we have a leak in the plumbing next to the toilet. It's the pipe that lets water in when you flush it. I need to call the landlord again and find out when they think they can get a plumber out. Thank God it's not real bad but still....
I laid the mop next to it so it can soak up some of the water.
Well I was considering uploading some more pics but the "sonion" wants on here at 6:30 so I can't do it until later or some other day. :(
