My Mother's Day
So yesterday was pretty nice. I went to Sunday School and church services. In Sunday School they gave each of us a small gift of lotion with little cards attached. Very nice.
After I got home I had a bit of lunch with some iced tea. The iced tea was a mistake as it later made me have to go to the bathroom while I was watching the movie.
My son and I went to see Star Trek and well I've already mentioned all about that.
My daughter made a nice dinner of pork chops and we also had beans and potatoes. Delicious! And of course we had cake. She cut all the slices from the cake she made for B's mom. So her mom didn't have much left to take home. My cake was completely intact when I went home. But I did have a small slice later. Maybe I'll take it with me Wednesday when I go to my volunteer assignment.
Anyway- my daughter and B also gave each of us a red dahlia in a pot and candles. I have lemon scented candle and a vanilla scented candle. I think B's mom does also.
I may give my flower to someone though as I am afraid it may not last in my care. :(
