Well- time for me to get off of here and take care of some stuff

I need to get dressed or that is- change into some regular clothes. I need to do some laundry and also I need to look diligently for a CD that is due back at the library in the next couple of days. Actually I have the CD but can't find the case it goes into. :(
I also need to dig out my car from the snow.
The son says he and I can bake later today. I told him I would show him how to bake one. I am going to try to let him do most of the work. I pray it works out without us breaking out in a shouting match or something.
Well the snow did end about 4 or 4:30 p.m. yesterday just as they said it would. I'm not really sure how many inches we ended up with.
Not long after it stopped a kid came knocking on our door asking if we'd like our snow shoveled. I declined his offer. Not sure how much he wanted to charge and didn't ask.
Another one of the neighborhood kids was sitting on the edge of our hill and I told her I didn't not want her to sled on our hill. She said OK but then went down the hill anyway. Guess she thought she'd get one last one in.
I live on the only house in the cul-de-sac that has a hill. So of course they want to use it to sled down. I don't want them to for a few reasons.

1. It looks awful after they've trampled all over the yard and also after they've sled down the hill.

2. If one of them was to become hurt by sliding down the hill they may hold me liable.

3. They often leave trash from candy wrappers, toys, etc. in and around the yard.

I don't want to come off as some old shrew but jeez! What ever happened to respecting other peoples property? It's not even my house or yard because I rent but still....

trash, hill, snow, sledding, respect, kids, baking, liability, house, yard(s), cake
