Thank you. There are a few other typos here. I posted it unedited because I wanted my thoughts out and workable right then. I think it's a complicated issue. If Jenner had just made her transition, and did not deliberately draw attention to it, she would not have the responsibility to be a positive voice. She's not a negative voice, but she's a missed opportunity.

Sad thing is she is promoting reality TV show. I think the big difference between some one like Caitlin Jenner and Laverne Cox or Lana Wachowski is summed up in the last Line of Ms. Wachowski's speech "If I can be that person for some one else then the sacrifice of my private and civic life will be worth it.

It is a tough, uncompromising position between a rock and a hard place for the LGBT community -- Jenner will give them no support, but failing to support Jenner in the face of hostility strengthens the wrongful belief that persecuting the transgender is okay by going unanswered. Jenner takes but gives nothing back except to draw more stares, more offensive jokes, and more unfriendly scrutiny. The LGBT community endures for her, so Jenner should repay that support. ...but because of privilege, she does not "need" it, so she does not appreciate it while already benefiting from it.
