More Chanderi weaving photos.
There is a lot of gold work in Chanderi saris.
They use it in brocade and some field work.
Back in the old days the zari (gold thread)
was imported from France and it was acutal
gold wire spun with silk.
Some actual real gold zari work is still
produced at a very high price in Chanderi
but most so called zari gold work
