Check out the photo set I made on when I went to Chanderi India in Madhya Pradesh last year.
This is the place that is a city of weavers out in the middle of nowhere buttf*ck beautiful magical India. It was a bit of a trek to get to this amazing off the beaten track place. My eyes were really opened to the reality that from such humble surroundings and limited resources, truly world class works of craft/art can and are being produced.
