not much of a weekend

As a new work week begins: a look back on the past weekend.

It was a nothing weekend.

* didn't watch a complete movie, although viewed most of a movie called Hannibal. I have seen bits and pieces of it but managed to see more of it this time with only the beginning missed.

* did mostly unrewarding research on Lum Cox-Columbus A. Cox who died sometime after 1945 but with no record of his death.

* purchased a low resolution cropped still on a card as another scene from a Milton Sills movie and also did a little research into his co-star Dorothy MacKhaill.

* purchased a publicity photo for The Rhythmaires, which featured Gloria Wood and Jud Conlon...and a soprano who later went on to sing the wordless vocals for the Star Trek theme in the 2nd season.

* purchased a 10 inch LP of music which had at least two cuts with The Rhythmaires.

* put out all compost, a bag of garbage, and washed/rinsed all cat food and other containers to recycle (at least a month's worth). This took at least four hours to complete over two days.

* bought a new property marker: pounded it in and lashed the broken one to it!

* put the three new pickets out by the back fence but did not attach two of them. I will need to set up saws to trim a 3rd by 1/4 inch or so, trim another in a triangular area, then cut the width for one other from 5 1/2 to 3 inches!

* created a baking soda and water compress for my left index finger which got a splinter from carrying the pickets...a splinter I can't see but hurts when I brush the finger on my pants or other fabric.

* helped Marisa find places for stuff she put out last weekend in the dining room.
