Nothing but groceries

Mar 28, 2021 23:12

While it was cold and blustery in the afternoon, the morning was merely overcast. I wanted to wake early and get dressed to go outside and run the weed whacker on the backyard and possibly the front parkstrip. Instead I did research, found a relatively inexpensive photoplay novel to purchase for one of my projects and found more information about one movie.

Marisa woke and I fixed breakfast. We watched CBS Sunday Morning with two extensions: one on Woody Allen's sexual perversions and the other of the moment of nature with video of starlings creating flying sculptures.

I got dressed around 5 p.m. and got this week's groceries. By the time I got out of the store the rain had stopped and there were sun breaks.

While filling the freezer, Marisa pulled out a bag of sliced bagettes which broke, so I used that as the basis for my lunch at 6:30 p.m. while we finished off a Sherlock Holmes episode.

I had been interested in cooking the 3-layer casserole but Marisa wanted to go on to watch more television.

Meanwhile I heard the door to my office open: cat invasion. Closed the door but two cats, Goose and Eddie, were still inside. I came back and let them out but after they had peed on the floor.

We watched a filmed version of the staged version of Hamilton. There was nothing hummable about its songs, but it was memorable.
