A Quarter of The (video) Mr. Smooth Show

I have now accounted for close to 100 16mm music videos, many of which would have no problem fitting into a video Mr. Smooth Show!

There are 92, possibly 93 videos accounted. With an average of 3 minutes for each video and allocating about 20 minutes per half-hour program, there are easily 13 half-hour shows possible.

Nine of the videos need additional information. One song is called "Mush Mush" but no musician listed. Another is sung by a woman: "Mean to Me". One is by a barbershop quartet. Others are even more mysterious.

Some of the videos are not Snaders but can still be used. There are only three so far but I know I have more of these non-Snaders: three from a Castle collection of Romantic Ballads.

I know I have one duplicate--Men of Harlech sung by the Bob Mitchell Boy Choir. There may also be a duplicate of Alvino Rey's rendition of My Bonnie Lies Over The Ocean.

Cost per video has ranged from $1.98 up to around $50!

With a known 543 Snaders I do not have but around 90 I do have, I have a pretty good start now. Actually, there were 754 original Snaders made between 1950 and 1952 before the batch was sold to Studio Films. Adding some 300 original Studio Films, there were 1054 total films. So, that means I have have about 10% of the Studio Films total catalogue.

Some may be not that great for Mr. Smooth, but I have two Peggy Lee, two Leo Diamond, 2 Irving Fields, 2-4 Carlos Molina, 1 Chuy Reyes, 3 Alvino Reye and 2 Mary Osborne videos--that is like 2 programs right there!
