Feel a little accomplished to-day. I didn't do as much as I had hoped, but did enough to justify some confidence going forward.
Spent $11 on new 3 inch wood screws at Freddies. I used them to put in the bracket after I had hacksawed off 2 of the 3 screws (could not remove them).
I saw some clematis at Freddies which I had been considering for planting next to the trellis, but decided to wait on that ($20, plus I would need to plant and really see if that is the right thing to do).
[x] finish concrete (well, sort of).
[x] move bracket.
[x] identify 2x4s for rails.
[x] cut rails.
[x] measure and install brackets.
[x] put up rails, level, and install other brackets.
Later
[ ] move wood in truck to wood pile.
[ ] pre-cut pickets.
[ ] put up pickets.
[ ] cut pickets.
[ ] sift stones and move stones to drain and/or window wells
[ ] remove leaves from front window wells
[ ] add surplus river rock to front window wells
[ ] rake landing for wood
[ ] create sacrificial wood stands on soil
[ ] move wood
[ ] finish temporary circle with retaining wall blocks.
[ ] move bricks-with-words to area.
[ ] prepare the land-between-the-trees (rake to flatten, weed)
[ ] add landscape fabric
[ ] move rock archive and bricks and bags to LBT
[ ] transplant tree
[ ] flatten area to bricks and cover with landscape fabric
[ ] front walkway
[ ] connections through center and turn to 3 foot side walkway
[ ] front posts (6 inch with 1 inch covering, lit 6x6)
[ ] connecting post, rails, pickets
[ ] rock walkway.
[ ] side walkway to turn
[ ] finish concrete on gate post
[ ] pebble surface between water barrel and turn
[ ] remove siding
[ ] add 2x4 to house on original siding
[ ] add rails and pickets

[ ] level heat exchanger
[ ] finish tetherball court and retaining wall/drainage
[ ] walkway around court and up to heat exchanger.
