This past Thanksgiving weekend was mostly about cooking and eating food.
Saturday I devoted to listening and researching records, specifically just one: a 78 which appears broken but still plays...on the Nadsco label. Turns out to be an interesting label. The record is in sad shape. I recorded it once as-is but plan to clean it and record again. I am just afraid it will break as there is already a large bite of a sub-surface crack. If I am careful I should make it more playable without fully breaking it.
Sunday I delivered the junk in the back of the truck, dominated by old carpet I had in bags outside for a full year, to the waste transfer station. Also brought two bags of deposit containers for refund (had 3 bags, but there is a 2 bag limit). Marisa went with me to the Goodwill as I got rid of a full truck bed of boxes: books, dvd boxes, other items.
To-day we should get a 240VAC heater model to go into House 70, replacing the 120VAC heater I mistakenly installed last Wednesday. It was a 240VAC supply, so the heater basically melted!
This Thursday I have my annual physical.
