Yesterday morning I decided not to drink coffee but another hot beverage, Pero. Had breakfast, packed my lunch. At work, however, I was restless and yet struggled to keep my eyes open. By noon, headache. 2 p.m. fever. During the afternoon I found it difficult to concentrate but did manage to write some code and get it to do what I wanted.
Got home while it was still daylight but with the terrible sinus headache and feeling light headed, I went straight to bed. Woke a few hours later, feeling a little better, but still with a headache.
Went downstairs and Marisa was kind enough to get me some juice while I sat down on the couch and watched television (a new series called Krypton). After the juice felt good enough to try some food, so she made me an Amy's meatloaf dinner. I also took two Tylenol pills. Then I went upstairs to brush my teeth and go to bed.
This morning felt better with only a slight headache. To-day, coffee, but will drink no more for the rest of the day. Yes to breakfast. Yes to lunch.
Had a little dream this morning that disturbed me. I was working at a radio station. Looked like a version of the main studio for High Plains Public Radio. I came in to start my shift. The woman who was there disappeared and then there was dead air. So I hurried to the music library to find something to play from CD.
I got back and discovered she was operating on air from another studio and had switched without telling me. In the room was David McCallum. For some reason, without him saying much, I realized that I was being dismissed or at least was not allowed to take my shift. Instead of just telling me, they distanced myself from the station.
I woke up from that feeling very confused and disappointed.
