The picket fence at the southwest corner of Zolacmanor is not yet finished but it might be difficult to tell just what is remaining: it looks pretty good. To-day I painted the tops of the pickets I cut yesterday...all the front ones plus a few off the side which were way too tall (rough cut).
[ ] cut the tops of pickets on the side in the same way as in the front
[ ] paint the tops of the pickets on the side
[ ] repair post tops that need repairing (just one I think) and add nails (thinner finish nails to avoid cracking the wood?)
[ ] add additional deck screws for all pickets
[ ] add moon phase cut outs
[ ] paint moon phase cut outs
[ ] whisk and wash fence
[ ] re-paint where needed
[ ] remove any paint that got on sidewalks
Seems like I will never get this done.
Also to-day Marisa and I loaded some bricks and concrete slabs for our path and patio...free from Craig's List. Still have yet to empty the truck. There is one foundation stone in there: very heavy. He had two others but simply ignored those after he indicated I did not have to take everything. As it was I took more than I wanted but will find a way to use everything.
The foundation stone, for instance, I might actually use for our tool shed whenever we get to that!
I will check Craig's List Saturday morning next week for other possibilities. There was a good one out Oregon City way but one such event is enough.
Raked the area from the front to the south side, weeding as I want and finding paint chips and plastic pieces. All the leaves I pulled from the two window wells I raked into the pile then moved the pile to the Purple Catalpa which needed mulch.
