Used 3 tubes of masonry glue today to affix the cap pieces onto the retaining wall. I was able to glue all pieces on the top down to the root at the sidewalk side of the wall. I figure I need just one more tube to finish glueing all the pieces.
Good to do this, as Cirrus was able to knock off one of the pie shaped pieces while I was doing this work (he always show up to make sure I am doing it correctly).
Next up: buy 3 more bags of gravel and 1 tube of glue...and wood chips... then finish the job. I estimate three hours maximum...maybe four hours with the purchase.
I waited until today to do this work as it is likely to be the driest day this week. It was a very nice day. Glad I didn't have to drive in to work. On the way to work at Cornelius Pass and Imbrie there was an accident that backed up traffic in the Sunset Highway. At the same time, nearby, there was a police investigation of an officer involved shooting (no one was hurt).
Worked from home today. Things are coming together!
