Gunky morning
Woke around 3 this morning and thought I heard our front door. I went downstairs. Marisa said nothing of the sort happened.
Now that I was up, realized my throat was filled with mucous. I coughed and coughed trying to get it clear, at least clear enough that I could go to sleep. Took a while, but finally got there.
Woke naturally after 6 a.m.: no cats were involved. Fed the cats, including Crowley, then sat down for coffee in the dining room as usual. That was good: helps wash down the gunk.
The cold has reached my ear canal, so I have a slight ear ache and my hearing is dulled.
This virus refuses to go away quietly!
Yesterday, while waiting for Marisa to complete a Pizza Hut delivery order, I went outside, found some HIDDEN bricks and added them to the back walkway. I need to do that at least 20 more times before the walkway is done, but every bit counts. Also watered the area west of LBT. At least one of the plants I grew has white flowers now. Everywhere I planted shows some signs of plant life now.
We watched an animated film on Paramount Plus that extends Nickelodeon's animated series of "The Loud Family" into a spy story. Funny! Followed that up with Robocop, a DVD I purchased some time ago but had never seen. Good movie. We had tried to stream it, but kept running into some sort of parody that looked like the start of Robocop but was something else! Our system has some problem where the switcher or the television (not sure which) blacks out in the middle of the action. It happened twice, but Marisa played around with the controls and got it back up each time.
