End of Discovery, wood chipper, coffee bar
* Marisa and I watched the last two episodes of Star Trek: Discovery last night. Satisfying ending with some open ends:
- Lt. Daniels on Enterprise (the series) becomes the mysterious guy Mr. Kovich, played by David Cronenberg. So we will be watching for Daniels to pop-up again maybe. He is a time traveller.
- Kovich connects with various folks including Geordi from Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Picard by virtue of his keeping Geordi's visor in his office. Also: the baseball probably from Commander Cisco's office in Star Trek Deep Space 9. So the Section 31 Star Trek series in production (or at least the pilot movie) could also have those threads continue.
- May not be the end of Michael Burnham in Star Trek projects given her connection with Kovich/Daniels. We know Burnham and Book live on for decades and raise a son...and Burnham becomes an admiral and does stuff for Kovich/Daniels.
- Sylvia Tilly may end up being in the Star Fleet Academy series as she definitely stated she wants to return there as a mentor...and the older Burnham mentions she is the longest serving head of the academy in Starfleet history.
* Considering watching the series "Firefly." Read this week that the series didn't succeed because Fox buried it on Friday nights and aired the episodes out of order, confusing viewers.
* Watched in the past week now two episodes of the series Fallout. Very interesting.
* Sort of goes with Silo which we won't see more of until next year, 2025. Silo is expected to have a 3rd and 4th season.
* Foundation probably won't have its 3rd season until 2025.
* We will probably see the 3rd season of Invasion also in 2025. Production of the 3rd season began in March 2024.
* The final and 5th season of Stranger Things will also be in 2025.
* The Veil starring Elisabeth Moss: I viewed the first episode, need to continue.
* Watched Jessica Jones last night. Two more episodes left to finish the series. There are related series to also watch after that!
* The Handmaid's Tail had a very short season earlier. The final season won't "film" until this summer so won't be seen until probably 2025.
* Today I bought a new wood chipper because I can't find ours. $120 total. I need to chip those branches.
* Put out the compost bin this morning. Once emptied will fill it again this weekend with blackberry, poke, weeds and food.
* Spindles into stairs: holes in stairs, glue those. Fit into rail. No glue there. Add fillet. Some people use shoes.
* Also went on a splurge to create a coffee bar which will get me to remove all the stuff on the counter.
