I hope to do more tomorrow, dodging bits of rain.

There was not much rain this afternoon. I was out there maybe three hours.

I take the most pride in finally using the gravel and concrete chards I had been accumulating for the last decade. Now, that accumulation (kept in plastic plant pots) is serving a real purpose. What I will do now with the empty pots I don't know.

Also I used the old landscape fabric that I dug up as the base of the soakage trench on top of the new landscape fabric.

Tomorrow I will see if I can round up any additional chards of concrete and maybe break up one piece that has metal running through it (as-is I won't use that one). All I find will go into the soakage trench. Then will continue:

[ ] add landscape fabric on top of the concrete chards.
[ ] add silicon to fill the gap between the extension pipe and the joiner piece.
[ ] add all gray river rock (reserve any colored river rock)
[ ] add landscape fabric.
[ ] add gravel.
[ ] add landscape fabric.
[ ] add white pipe and cap, connect in the orthogonal pipe.
[ ] test.
[ ] cover with sock.
[ ] add landscape fabric.
[ ] add additional rock on the sides of the pipe.
[ ] final landscape fabric.
[ ] add clay to 1 foot below grade taking from the pile closest to the house.

At this point the river rock should be gone and so should the clay closest to the house.

[ ] dump the compost.
[ ] cut blackberry
[ ] remove branches. toss substandard pieces to compost. keep others for chipping (yes, when I get my chipper)
[ ] remove top soil from Byron Hill2 to be used for soil amendment.
[ ] fetch dirt from Burr Ave.
[ ] add top soil from Byron Hill 2, Burr Ave. house, with compost and clay.

I might do some of this in the evening.

[ ] rinse soaked dishes and put in dishwasher
[ ] soak cat food cans
[ ] rinse cat food cans, collapse and put into recycling
[ ] put out recycling
[ ] clean upstairs litter box
[ ] clean downstairs litter box
[ ] clean backroom litter box

dishes, drainage
