Good news:
* Marisa's computer was found and was at Escape, so Marisa went out to get it and also get canned cat food (we ran out last night)
* Parr had the cellar door delivered. It is a simple door: just what we need. They will install it tomorrow, so after work cleared an area 32 inches square around the door opening. Not sure where Reed put the frame and door, but he didn't tell me it was wrong, so guess we are good to go. I used the crater area to move all the boxes but made sure there was a plastic box base.
* Met with my manager to-day at 3 p.m. but had just enough time to add some lunch and get dressed before that.
* Learned that one of my co-workers is going half-time to be loaned to another organization for work on a special project. Last time my manager gave me the testing to oversee, but he passed that on to some folks overseas. We will see how that works. I feel the commitment to testing and testing correctly has really fallen off lately.
* My monthly was prepared and submitted before I ended my day. The last month was actually better than I thought it would be.
* I kicked off a usage study before I shut down--my manager asked for it a week ago but I only got the requested commands to check today.
* High hopes for tomorrow: door to the cellar, door and window trim...and for me no meeting until 3 p.m. Also, no missing computer angst.
* Paid $920 to the city today for FIR inspections.
* To pay Poest: $1060.
