Done:
* find and purchase 220vac plate and make sure all purchased outlets/switches are correct (one 220vac plate, 2 duplex 115 vac outlet plates).
* sent Poest contact numbers with NK.
* measured perimeter segments of rooms for baseboards and baseboard trim.
* agreed to meet with Ms. Krey on Monday to go over plans for railing.
My responsibilities at this point:
* clean light fixtures.
* help get Neil Kelly carpenter meet setup with Poest so he can complete the newel posts.
Wednesday is mostly sunny and 55. There won't be another sunny dry day until after Tuesday, Nov. 14. This might be a good day to do some of this, especially the waterproof filler:
* put waterproof filler around pipe holes in silt basin.
* Pull out river rock from excavated area.
* Fill in dirt:
-- slope down under the stoop.
-- further slope down between south inside corner and window well.
-- old drainage areas.
* dig five foot deep area for soakage trench.
* scribe soakage trench.
* line trench with landscape fabric.
* add 18 inches of river rock.
* add holey pipe with landscape fabric sleeve and/or re-use flexy pipe from old drainage area.
* connect trench input to silt basin output (dig trench for piping and add pipes and turns).
* once approved, cap soakage trench and fill in pipe trenches.
* put clamps on window well cover, remove plastic film.
* remove plastic film and tape from project windows.

Other news:
* watched Raiders of the Lost Ark last night. I intend to see one Indiana Jones movie each Saturday until December when "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny" is available on Disney Plus.
* Disney Plus forced me to go through email/password time again last night. Not fun.
* Found my single volume of all Edgar Allen Poe fiction and poetry. Marisa has it now. She is interested in it after watching the Corman sequence of Poe films and a mini-series which pulls in Poeisms to a modern pharma corp tale "The Fall of the House of Usher."
* We spring ahead an hour today. The cats were hungry and actually ate in their regular positions.
* Eddie and Will had a face off today while we were trying to watch CBS Sunday Morning.
* CBSSM had stories about Bass Reeves, hybrid work, Barbra Steisand, the Hollywood sign and a nature segment from the Oregon coast.
* Today is the first episode of a short series on Bass Reeves, the U.S. Marshall in Oklahoma in the late 19th century.
* I continued to add data to my glass slides list for silent movies, documenting for which I have images. There are about a thousand to go.
* The Panasonic USB/AM/FM/CD/Tape player is making mechanical noises related to its CD player. I ordered a replacement for $40, due by next weekend. Not having music in the Kitchen makes it difficult to do any cleaning. It is also raining so I can't take stuff outside to the bins. Arg! This makes me depressed.
Finding just the right small unit to put in the kitchen is difficult. I wanted all those things, plus presets for the stations and a good remote control. I sacrificed on the presets and good remote control and hope the other things come through. A more expensive one has everything I want except AM radio. If this cheap one works out I can deal with the minor difficulties of changing frequencies or fumbling with the remote.
My personal forecast for the backroom project is this:
* Texturizing the walls and ceilings should happen Nov. 6-10
-- Wed., Nov. 8: Seal off pipe, begin soakage trench.
* Interior painting Nov. 13-14.
* Nothing on Nov. 15 (drying).
* Nov. 16-17 install of door/ plumbing close-off.
-- Nov. 18-29--soakage trench work?
* Nov. 20-24 nothing. Thanksgiving. Soakage Trench work?
-- Nov. 25-26--soakage trench work?
* Nov. 27-Dec. 1. Floor install.
-- Dec. 2-3. Soakage Trench work?
* Dec. 4-8. Trim/handrail install.
-- Dec. 9-10. Soakage Trench work?
* Dec. 11-13. Electrical install. End of project.
I would be pleased if there was no other delay and even more so if some of this could be collapsed (a few days on Thanksgiving week, for instance).
The actual schedule might even be pushed out longer with probably Dec. 18 - Jan. 5 not available for contractors or subcontractors.
