And then there was curling
The Brier started on Friday, so I've been glued to the television. I moved a lot of furniture around so I can do homework, work, play with the dogs, and not actually have to leave the living room other than bathroom breaks. There's even a fridge in here so I've got drinks all set to go. I should probably put some food in there, too.
Saturday we snuck out before the afternoon draws to take Angus out for sushi and birthday shopping - I got him a sewing machine for Christmas so he wanted fabric for his birthday. That makes complete sense to me, so off we went to Fabricville for boiled wool and faux fur. He's making a very impressive cloak.
I've been watching old shows, lately - The Mentalist and Lie to Me, and an endless cycle of Hannibal series one. I'll move along to series two after the Brier. Stargate Atlantis, as well, though I watch that along with Mr. Byrne so only one episode a night. He's weird like that. I've been reading a lot of murderhusband stories on AO3 - there's a ton of nice, long Hannibal/Will fics. I think I need to take a break from it, though, since the body count and blood isn't grossing me out anymore.
No cello lesson tomorrow due to March break, but my therapy appointment got shifted so I need to do my reading for that, and I'm sure some level of introspection should happen. I'm looking forward to it. Really. :-|
