So this comm class I have to take has made me do something I don't normally do on a daily basis.. write poetry.
Sure I coulda chickened out and stolen song lyrics, changed them a little, and read them with some inflection of hate, but I don't do that.
Stealing lyrics is wrong and shameful and you should be smited by the hand of the RIAA for it. Fucking RIAA.. they should be focusing on half-assed productions rather than music downloaders.. but anyways.

Or, maybe you can, but you can’t type normal anymore.
U have to use all the crazy combinations
That may seem to some like semaphore

O’s are now zeros

They’ve all changed to 1 and 7 and 3

Anything that was previously A-T-E, in now the number 8
It works better than real English, trust me.
But back to my people
We are wardrivers
We are hackers
We are bloggers, coders, crackers
We are the people that those with ignorance to technology fear the most
And we are unnecessarily considered criminals for it.
Maybe some of us should be to blame?
Maybe Mitnick deserved his time in jail just because he simply used a computer
To go where he could… but maybe shouldn’t have been.
But if jailtime is the punishment for simply exploring an electronic world,
What happens to those that help to destroy it?
The creator of worm virii
He’s sitting atop an MIT building, in an office, eating a piece of LaVerde pie.
But some can’t have our pie
And eat it too.

The 14 y.o. f00
Who took the great professor’s little germ
And turned it into the blaster worm.
He was put in jail
Questioned by the FBI
And HE sure as hell didn’t get any pie.
But there is one thing
