I'm on sort of a blogging hiatus, just because I'm bored with it and only have been doing it lately for the sake of keeping a record (and have even fallen off that). But Jen asked me to do this meme, where she gives you a letter and you come up with 10 things you love that begin with it. If you want to play, let me know and I'll give you a letter.

Brown, Jason Robert: Definitely my favorite new Broadway composer (could have done “Broadway”, but it felt generic). I adore his uber-specific lyrics, his use of internal rhyme, his piano-heavy melodies, his balladeer style. I think “Nobody Needs To Know” is the perfect expression of a dead relationship, “Stars and the Moon” and “Goodbye Until Tomorrow/Goodbye” are two of the most heartbreaking songs I can think of, “The Schmeul Song” is oddly profound, “Summer in Ohio” is hysterical…ok, I’m a fan.
Bacon: Everything goes better with…
Being busy: It may be a sickness, but it’s definitely my lifestyle.
British Accents: I try to think of myself as fairly non-superficial, but this would be among the exceptions for automatic turn-ons.
Barcelona: Where I’ve always dreamed about going.
Birth control: Hehe, this is less about “yay, protected sex for meeee!” and more to represent that women’s health issues/rights are a big thing with me.
Bourbon: I get crap about it for it being too masculine, too hard-liquor, etc., but most of my favorite drinks are bourbon-based.
Banter: I live for it, whether it be in real life or in Aaron Sorkin scripts.
Buffy: It’s sort of symbolic for my New York friendships and Ram days, even though I love the show itself and dig anything with a strong heroine.
Buying gifts: I like to think of myself as an expert-gift giver and love when the holidays come around and I get to think of ideas for people.
