1 small onion
1 can red beans (drained)
1/4-1/2 lb ground beef
1-2 cloves garlic
1 bell pepper
1 jar tomatoes
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2-1 tsp salt
First, saute the chopped onion in a large cast iron skillet.
Add the chrushed garlic and brown the beef.
Add the chili powder, cumin, salt, and maybe a pinch of black pepper.
Add the tomatoes, beans, and chopped bell pepper, crush the tomatoes.
Simmer covered 20 mins or so until the liquid is the right consistency.
