Book and Thoughts
Just finished rereading "The Stars My Destination" by Bester. Damn! It is so amazing to me how current it feels, even though it was written in the '50s. I just love his books. It is a good, quick read and well worth your time. I highly recommend it. I also really look forward to discussing it at book club. I love hearing what intelligent, well-read people have to say, even if I don't agree.
In other news, I think I'm going to try experimenting to see if I can make nice outfits out of old suits. They are cheap, usually wool, and could perhaps be made into stylish dresses. I'll see when I get home.
Oh, and I'm going to grow out my hair and maybe cut some bangs. I'll experiment on some photos and see. Mostly because I'm going to need all the warmth I can get if/when we move.
