well it is official. the building that i was trying to purchase is no more. the elevator is going to cause more stress than is necessary so i decided against doing the renovation.
all is not lost however. i made an offer on two other properties today. i went low but i am waiting to see what kind of counter-offer he makes. the building is smaller and is timber and brick rather than concrete. i am excited to see what happens. i should know something tomorrow. if we don't figure out a deal in the next few days then i am going to buy some other ones. it looks like i may be getting started on everything very soon.
