ALEXANDRIA
A jewel set at the edge of a continent, with a port that opens out to a vast, empty sea. While the four-towered castle overlooking the town seems to spear the sky itself, the streets themselves are a riot of color, with shingled eaves and twisting paths that seem more like a rabbit warren than a city. While there are humans among those who wander the city, there are those who are distinctly anything but: hippo-headed merchants jostle for space besides dwarves and other species that defy description.

LINDBLUM
Crowning a vast hill, this city seems driven by clockwork and cogs. Steam and smoke from the city's numerous chimneys and vents has made a discolored haze settle over the city, visible even from a distance. Ships soar through the air, circling the city like glittering insects.

CLEYRA
A city in a tree, concealed by a magical sandstorm. Populated by rat-like people dressed in flowing robes and fluttering veils, the buildings seem to grow out of the tree's branches itself, and their cathedral-like architecture, while modestly sized, seems to reach for the sky.

BURMECIA
The Realm of Eternal Rain. The half-ruined buildings that make up this city show the signs of recent attempts at repair, and imposing, weather-worn statues stand guard at the palace--though some of them lie broken. Despite the fact that it's evidently seen violence in the past, the events that brought it to this state don't seem to be recent: moss and lichen have grown over most of the broken stone, and cracked facades have worn edges. The city leaves the impression of old, faded splendor, but carries the quiet dignity of its past with it even now.

The rain never stops falling.
