List(s) UPDATED!
I am just about done with The NY Times 1000 Movies list. I still have some on VHS that I haven't gotten to and some that I recorded that I have been putting off watching. But other than those there are 66 left which are either hard to find on DVD or not available at all.
Now, I initially said (to myself) that I wouldn't dive right into another list right away but it seems like I didn't listen to myself. If you go to the Recorded post you will see an "Other Lists" section. The two listed last, 1001 Movies and TSPDT, are my new obsession goal. The 1001 Movies are from the book series, 1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die, which is a bit bothersome since everytime they release a "New Revised" edition, the list changes with new additions and subtractions. So I am going to start with the original edition. And the TSPDT list is from the site TheyShootPictures.com, which I unfortunately came across early this year. But, fortunately, there are a lot of cross over from my previous lists to these two, therefore, 1001 Movies has 307 left and TSPDT has 395 left, with a lot of cross over between the two, as well.
I set myself the goal of finishing the NY Times 1000 by the end of this year. Now, if I watch the 35 that I have, I will actually meet that goal. I'm not really motivated as much to finish these two new lists in any kind of time frame.
I update the Recorded list pretty frequently, so check it out from time to time, to see what I am watching.
