How accurate is the science of dreams? Is there anything scientific about it or is our mind just providing a picture show for our entertainment as we sleep? Or are they just a reflection of our days events or do they express our hidden desires? Could they even have the ability to make predictions? In truth I believe they express what we think, feel, hope, worry... all our basic thoughts and emotions summed up and organized during our slumber. But what of those crazy nonsensical dreams that have no distinct pattern or reason? And why is it that we remember some dreams and most others not?
I woke up this morning baffled by my nights thought. Rather than a continuation of an old dream that I had years ago it was a prequel to it. Just like the first it was so real and vivid. The feelings of emotions intense and the confusion as real as the wooden floor beneath my feet. So what of it? Does it express a secretly harbored hope ? Perhaps it tells of things I already know? Or predict the future? I don't know what to make of it. I've never been so stirred by a dream before. The contents of which I am too embarrassed to disclose (not to worry, nothing rated R). If someone would be so kind as to refresh my memory in how to make a cut perhaps I will tell.
