Suicide tour of Spain
I didn't intend this to be a once-weekly update but that's the way it's going currently.
I had a mad weekend with a difference - two friends of mine went away for the weekend, leaving "Auntie Nettie" with their kids. Four of them in the house - three girls and one boy, aged six to nine, from Friday afternoon until Sunday evening!
I took them to Chester Zoo, bowling, around the shops, out for pizza - it was great fun but I'm knackered. I put my house back together when they'd gone (there's a theme emerging) then back to work for a rest!
It hasn't turned out to be a rest, though. This is my itinerary for the next few days:
1) Fly to Madrid tomorrow and meet with Client late afternoon. Stay overnight.
2) Take train to Zaragoza early Thursday. Meet with 2nd Client. Stay overnight.
3) Take very early flight to Barcelona Friday morning. Meet with Banks. Fly home.
At best, I should be home very late Friday evening - if I survive the planes, trains and automobiles! I know it's good to get away from normal work routine but this is a bit suicidal! Starting the weekend half dead is not good!
So, apart from 101 other things, I need to pack tonight. [And, before I can pack, I need to iron some things to pack!] Rock & roll!
