WOOSH!
So, 2004 wasn't TOO bad, I guess. Here's an outline of what I can remember:
January-Went to school and did that typical January type stuff. Nothing special. Or nothing I can remember, anyways...
February-Chris and I broke up after close to nine months. Went snowboarding with Leah in Durango, Colorado for the second time and it was definitely one of the best trips I've ever taken. Umm, had a leap year that fucked up my Friday birthday... =( Boo lol.
March-Ate at Fortune Cookie for the first time. And I only remember this because I went with Kayla for her birthday haha. Got sick for part of spring break... Started going out with Andy...
April-Got dumped by Andy (heh)... Played in the JV City Championship for tennis and La Cueva got second... Woosh, nothing else important.
May-Found out I had mononucleosis, blegh. Missed the last week of school, including finals. Got my second C on a report card ever, though still only for 6-weeks. Became quarantined in my room and was oblivious to the world around me for about two weeks.
June-Left my house! Woosh! Saw Harry Potter 3 on opening day. Started playing tennis every day. Kind of got tan =D Went to Denver for the first time. And I started this Live Journal business! Yeayh!
July-Continued to play tennis and get tan. Got second place in our city tournament. Got introduced to Modest Mouse. I think this was where Napoleon Dynamite first came into my life...! Saw Tom Padilla for the first time since early May. Unfortunately our get-together was at the movies and we saw I, Robot, but whatever.
August-Saw Sean Ward for the first time in a long time. Started sophomore year. Became friends with Elise Nelsen... Saw Collateral with ChrissyPoo for his birthday! C'mon Barbie, let's go party!
September-Began going out with Thomas... Saw Leah for the last time before she moved. Happiest and saddest month of the year mixed... And spread out over three days...
October-Homecoming 2004! Took the PSAT. HAHA, crazy almost getting caught situation...
November-Election Day! Go go... nobody! I couldn't have cared less, quite frankly. I was just glad for two reasons: one the campaigning commercials ended, and two I got out of school =) Ooh, and we got an early dismissal for snow too! Heck YES!
December-Turned sixteen! Took some finals and then had a Christmas. Umm, and that one thing ;) haha... Got half way through driver's ed at McGinnis. Drove a car on streets for the first time. Never mind that the streets were residential streets up in North Albuquerque Acres where I live, I still drove both an automatic and a standard, and I'm damn proud of it! =) I taught something very unique to my best friend (you rock, Lay <3) and gave my last hug of the year 2004 to my brother because he's actually really freaking awesome for a 12-year-old.
And that was my year. I'm sure there are lots of things I'm forgetting, but that's too bad. I'm tired and I don't want to think anymore.
