The Weather Outside is Frightful....
Holy cow did we get some snow last night!!! The weather guy is never correct in December with his snow predictions. So I didn't listen when they said we were getting 2-4 inches. Not like I care anyway. I don't go to school. I still have to go to work. Plus I live down the road from my store, not even a mile away. I have no excuse to be late or absent.
Unless I lock my keys in my car with the car running.
And that's exactly what happened today. I opened my passenger door to brush off the 5 inches of snow from my car and when I was done, I opened the passenger door again to put away my brush and thought "hey, I should lock this so I don't forget to do it when I get out of my car." It was then that I realized OH SHIT. One phone call to AAA, 10 minutes being on hold and 20 minutes waiting for the tow truck later, my car is nice and toasty for me to go the 0.75 miles to work. And arrive 45 minutes late. I am definitely renewing my membership for 2008. I am spoiled by calling one phone number to help me put on spare tires and get unstuck from my driveway. And get into my car when I've locked them inside and the engine is running. *smacks forehead*
The snow is super duper pretty though. I opened the door first thing this morning and took pictures.
This is just outside our door....I love looking at the snow when it's untouched.
See? So pretty!!
I put lights in our window, and I was just waiting for Catcher to curl up in front of them so I could get a "classic" holiday pic. The string of lights has since been taken down because Catcher pawed at them too many times and I don't have the patience to tape it all up again. But it was pretty for one night!!!

I'm in the process of addressing my Christmas Card envelopes. So far I've done over 50. I had a HUGE list this year because I wanted to be sure to send one to everyone who gave us something for our wedding. And I haven't even started my holiday wish people yet! But I will get there!!! Even if it's after Christmas! It'll just have to say HAPPY 2008!!! YAY!!!
On that note, I should get working on those and get the bedroom cleared out so I can put up our tree!!
