And yet another OB appt. comes and goes
Right. Here we are. Still preggers. Still home.
We had a nice holiday weekend with some tasty nibblets and good company. I like pancakes and weddings and parties. Hooray for people getting married and others who throw fabulous parties. By the way, Thank You
minnehaha K. for calling to let me know my hat had been abandoned. David retrieved everything cause he's a helper and I had forgotten I had brought it in. We'll come by soonish to retrieve it. I believe you are both out of town for a couple of days so maybe when you come back.
We had another appt. with the midwife which was encouraging. I am around 70% effaced, 1 cm dilated, and his head is at station +1(this measurement goes from -3 which is the start to basically +4 which is when his head is coming out). And in case that wasn't enough to merit a TMI the plug is half way gone. When we left she said she'd see us at either our next appointment, which is next Wednesday, or the hospital. Any time now is possible.
I have taken up killing things on the computer. I have never really done that much so who knows how long it'll last, but it's entertaining for the present time. I have given up sleeping in useful quantities. Apparently my body doesn't believe in deep sleep right now so I get lots of dreams and no rest and recovery time. I tend to fall asleep alot right now.
We just came in from installing the carseat in the car and putting up the Boston Red Sox window shade. I'm feeling pretty good about our readiness. There are a couple of things we haven't gotten yet but we can get them anytime. Mostly I've thought of personal items I have failed to acquire like nursing bras. La. If I'm really slow I can always get stuff at the hospital.:)
And with that I need a nap and am going to lay down. I'm dozing off typing this.
