in fact, i'm already in alaska. anchorage. i'm in the airport waiting to get on a puddle jumper to go to dillingham where the inservice is. this whole thing induces the idea that perhaps i'm out of my mind, mostly because there are a lot of unknown things about alaska. in an effort to keep track of all the stuff i experience i have started a blog.

i meet my mentor teacher on thursday, i'm so excited that i wrote it here. btw, mentor teacher is the person who helps you through your teaching internship. i have my teaching internship next year. at holt high school. hot digs.
So, apparently, the osterizer blender is not made to make hummus. Today, it started smoking and completely stopped working because chick peas are just too hard to blend. Conclusion: never buy an osterizer for $30 at best buy (if you want to blend things like chick peas).
and then i guess i'll be homeless/at mom's house for 3 weeks. i can't wait until my class is done. i think when it gets over i will cut someone's leg off in excitement.
the most exciting thing has happened to me! i have found an application for that horrible linear algebra that i almost killed myself over last fall! people actually use that stuff to figure stuff out about population dynamics (ecology stuff)! man, all of my hard work and near death experience has finally been validated! don't worry about the fact
