Rachel's bridal shower today was an interesting experience for me. It was my first experience spending time with Doug's family without Doug, which was a little unusual. Furthermore, I played the role of "Rachel's fiance's brother's girlfriend", which isn't exactly a terribly strong relation, so I felt a little out of place hanging out by myself ( Read more... )

Day 1 in Chicago! Mrs. Kerr made us pancakes for breakfast before driving us to the airport. She's so sweet.

Apparently I kicked some serious butt in my interviews yesterday. Not only did I get the job, but my boss' boss liked me so much that

1. she invited me to her planning meetings to be on her "brainstorm" marketing team
2. she wants to provide me with training so that I can add resident photographer to my skill set. Read - free photography lessons.
