The future?
As you all may know (or maybe not)... I'm an English major, minoring in Com as of right now.... and yeah tonight, I decided to do some more research as to where I want to go in life with this.
I mean, editing has been my top choice for a while..... in fact, my first real boss (as well as life long mentor) Colleen, told me for years that editing would be my thing. For years, as well, I scoffed at her.
Then I realized how right she was. And I'm going with it.... as of right now.
Even when I change my mind about what I want to do.... I always seem to come back to it.
Books were my first love.... and I want them in my life permanently.
Anyways... tonight, like I said, I did more research into types of literary editors.... and yeah.... read up on copy editors, and acquisitions editors (this one sounds ideal to what I'd like to do, really), etc.
I wonder.
Yeah, sorry, this was a pretty bogus post... not interesting to anyone but me... but oh well.
