Today's news
Besides being freezing cold and snowing like mad I had my neurology appointment today. I am back on Topamax...bleck... They start me out on a low dosage and work me up so for now I'm just at 25mg 2x/day. I baked a horde of cookies today after getting back from the doctor's office as I wasn't going to get out and do anything else. So the house now smells of yummy chocolate chips and cream cheese cookies...tomorrow it's snickerdoodles. That's all the cookie baking I'm doing. On Wednesday we are heading out to DS's sister's house to exchange gifts and become gluttonous fools. I opted to make something simple that I know the kids will eat...macaroni and cheese.
Zorro was really a sweetie and wanted everyone to open the Yule gifts that his Aunt and Uncle sent even though his hadn't arrived yet so we opened them...I let him open mine and I absolutely love my Moon Fountain (Thank You GDdances & Stardances).
Skater J loves his Spiderman set and everything in there is cool...the cell is neat!!! The Q of E loves her Parfie sleeping bag and insisted on sleeping in it on her bed...DS started looking through the book, as did I and it has some really interesting things...He said to tell you both Thank you very much...psst...he doesn't want anyone to know that he actually looks things like color mixing up...go figure...I'm not above saying I need help whatever the source I have to get it from. I will definately get lots of use from the book and I know he will as well.
I have tons of CD's to burn tomorrow for DS, Skater J and Zorro. I hope I have the energy to get to them all. I still have a few things I need to wrap up as I forgot a few things in the closet. Isn't that always the way?
I am feeling a tad tired and need to go shower...hoping that will help warm my bones up too. Happy Holidays everyone.
