ED stuff: 1. No longer lurking in pro-ed sites just to trigger myself. I know it sounds obvious, but I'm having a hard time resisting it... 2. Eating intuitively (i.e. eat when hungry, stop when full) 3. Eating socially 4. Not spending endless amounts of time in the foodstore agonizing over what's the safest 5. NO scale in house - only find out weight from dr. 6. physically healthy - and most important - in healthy weight zone. I firmly believe that you cannot be mentally recovered w/o being physically recovered
depression/etc. 1. sleeping 8 hours a day (not too little/too much) 2. doing SOMETHING full-time (like being a student or having a job) - or doing part time student part time job 3. leaving the house EVERY day 4. having a romantic relationship, and also friends 5. independent - paying pills, driving, cooking 6. having leisure activities 7. feeling all ranges of emotions - from happiness, sadness, to anger, jealousy -- being balanced
To sum up everything: WAKING UP IN THE MORNING AND WANTING TO LIVE
I hardly have any of those things right now - but I also need to work on that.
Thank you for this post - it really got me thinking!
whit, those were some really great goals!! they got me thinking beyond what i had originally. do you mind if i take a few of them and modify them for myself? i like how you have goals broken up into categories too. good idea.
hm, i just tried to comment but something happened...
what i wanted to say was that this list i found really helpful too, which is cool because i wasn't expected to be so struck by how few of those i do not have, but really really do need to focus on.
