Marley and I leave for Washington tomorrow morning and are staying for 3 weeks. YAY!
I'm super excited and trying to get everything together, have to find Marl's seatbelt.......
had fabulous meetings with both my advisers this week. will start working on prospectus on vacation, seriously. I will. i swear.
The hollywood bowl was fun. we picniced in the fancy box seats and me and my mom drank a lot. we saw the LA philharmonic play ride of the valkeries and holst's the planets and one random modern piece. truc is confused by modern classical music (as am i) , at one point during the modern piece he leaned forward to me and whispered, "isn't this just noise?" i said yes. oh and i swear i went to high school with the oboe player and my mom doesn't believe me. the end.
