Man, I haven't posted in a long-ass while. That's strange since I was on a 4 post a day habit. Heh. Well, I haven't really had a lot to say. Okay, that was a blatant lie. I've just been to lazy to write it all. Basically, ended internship, finally, friend of my mother stayed with us for a few days and drove me and my sister absolutely fucking batty he was so rude ("You gonna wash my clothes for me?" "No." "Why not?"), I packed up and drove back to school Thursday. Happy to be back here in my apt. My roomate left for NC today, hope she does well in school there. And I've basically been lounging around all day in my pjs.
Phew.
There's other stuff I want to talk about but not here as other people read this and I don't feel like getting into it with them.
I am watching SNL right now though and I have two questions:
1. Why do people call Tenacious D the best rock band on the planet? Do they not realize that they aren't?
2. Why do people go nuts for The Strokes? I REALLY don't get that one. They aren't that good.
3. WHY THE HELL DID WILL FERRELL LEAVE????? WHO'S GOING TO DO DUBYA OR ALEX OR ANY OF THE MILLION CHARACTERS HE DOES SO WELL???? ARGH!
Okay, so that was three quesitons but I thought I'd throw that last one in there. Jack Black is incredibly annoying.
I am so pleasant. Haha, okay well here is another reason why I'm going to hell. Last night while flipping through channels I happen upon Animal Planet where Steve Irwin is sobbing. I'm like, what the hell? So I watch and realize that he is bent over the stiff, lifeless body of a crocodile. So he goes on to explain how much he loves this croc...about as much as his wife and the proceedes to have her take the camera so the camera guy can help him move the body, but the camera guy is crying too and goes over and hugs Steve first. Meanwhile, I'm laughing my ass off because the whole thing is just absurdly funny to me. But I'm also telling myself that I shouldn't make fun of other people's pets and I'm going straight to hell for laughing like that.
The dead croc was creepy, very, very stiff. I wasn't even laughing because I harbour an intense dislike of Steve, the whole thing was just....absurd. But it was his pet, blah blah blah.
Okay, back to being bored and watching the watered-down, Comedy Central version of Dogma.
