Hold my life until I'm ready to use it, hold my life because I just might lose it

I just finished The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. I started it on Friday. It was really good. I'd most definitely recommend it to you, if it hasn't been recommended to you yet. It felt good to just plow through a book--it took me all semester to read Cry My Tears, The Policeman Said by Philip K. Dick, because I had no time. Apart from that, though, it was a lovely, original and captivating novel. Much of the first half reminded me a lot of Neutral Milk Hotel--specifically "King Of Carrot Flowers Part 1" and "Two-Headed Boy Part 2", though I'm not entirely sure why.

I've been time traveling myself recently--between my dad telling me a lot about my childhood that I never knew a two weeks ago to working a couple of shifts opposite the girl I had a crush on in 7th and 8th grade and haven't seen in the intervening seven years to just being forced to face the idea of graduation, internships and what I am going to do with my life--quite a daunting one. In terms of the present, not a whole lot going on. Work, until I go back to Jersey. Everyone's leaving to go back to school now-ish...but I'm doing all right, over all. 'Sbout it.
