Notes From The Underground
1. I forgot to mention the best thing about this weekend (after SoaP, of course). So Marissa and Zoe and I were playing Mario Kart, and (approximately) I said "Could you guys take it easy on me?" to which Marissa said "And why don't you let me win?" and Zoe said "And make me a milkshake!" Beat. Beat. Cut to: All of us drinking black and whites five minutes later. I was just amused at how that happened. Also, I'm pretttty sure that that was the first milkshake I'd had all summer. You know...in mid-August.
2. I cut my fingertip something bad when attempting to open a bottle of beer earlier. Clearly, I should just buy a damn bottle opener. It's noting, but it hurts, dammit!
3. Facebook now as a blog-syndication feature, so now my amaaaaazing Livejournal can be read everywhere from American to Yale. But...on Facebook. I'm tempted to just mention, say, Mr. Alex Neusner, and see if he notices that I did. We'll see.
4. I really want to see Little Miss Sunshine in Niantic this weekend, but I don't have anyone to go with. I'm free Friday evening and Saturday afternoon (ie I'm back in Weekapaug at 5:50) if anyone's interested in...anything.
5. I...really miss having working "n" and "h" keys. Not having them really sucks. You know? I know I do.
6. I'm off to read more Middlesex and go to bed. Whee!!!!
