Damn. July is over, and August is upon us! Only one month until Drew! I'm very excited about going back--between getting to see all my awesome friends an' starting my ASM gig for "The Siren Song Of Stephen Jay Gould" an' taking a film course that hopefully will be interesting an' having a pimped out single that will hopefully be a lot cooler than my rooms these past two years (I'm envisioning something that several people would actually hang out in, but that's an ideal that will probably not be realized. Ah! but how I dream of it). Looking back at my list of plans for the summer and just looking back, I'd say this has been a good summer. I haven't been so good with talking to most people regularly (I am pretty sure Helena and I haven't had a 15-minute conversation all summer, which is very sad), but I have been slowly but surely making friends at Weekapaug, and I have plans to be visited by Marissa in a few weeks, and am trying to secure plans to hang out with various others such as Liz and Alisa&Janessa; I'm making pretty good money, keeping myself entertained. And I may not have had a summer fling--even at Weekapaug, where I get the feeling that the fling's the thing--but it's still been an enjoyable summer. Even if I am working.
So my goals for the remaining month are to buy a fridge of some sort, brush up on German (I mean it this time! I hopefully will buy an actual German text at the Book Barn or something), do a lot of running, hang out with people at least four times (not counting Weekapaug, because that's pretty regular), vote for Lamont, apply for a passport and an absentee ballot (not at the same time), do a lot of other stuff, and return to Drew as awesome a person as I can be!
