All right, so I haven't updated in forever due to busy times, but I finallllly have a day free. YAY. So, thoughts ahead, specifically on that fabulous male stripper movie Magic Mike, the Once Upon a Time finale (spoilers ahoy), and the Borgias.
I am insanely excited about Magic Mike, the new movie about male strippers. I'm not sure what it says about me that I think male strippers are fascinating and magical creatures, but there it is. I've always been pretty okay with objectification, and it's high time for a movie all about male stripper eye-candy. I think in order to celebrate this movie properly, I will have to make a trip to a club in person. I think there are a couple in Atlanta, and I'll be there this summer, so...fun times ahead.
I love Channing Tatum. I think I became a fan when I saw She's the Man, which is hilariously awful and I still watch it on occasion. Channing isn't the best actor ever, but he's funny and looks great and he used to be a stripper, so I can't wait to see him shake his thing. Also, this is pretty much the best role for Matthew McConaughey. That picture of him as Yankee Doodle is perfect on so many levels. And Matt Bomer and Joe Mangianello too and I think that guy from that horrible movie Beastly. Alex Pettyfer? He's quite attractive, so more bonus points.
OMG this last picture is killing me. Just...melting and dead.
The Once Upon a Time finale was pretty great; I'm completely shocked that they allowed the town to remember everything. This makes me think the creators must have even bigger plans for screwing with the characters (and the fans). I loved Lost until that last season, so hopefully the creators have an actual idea of what to do with OUAT.
Dr. Whale. I just can't get enough. His hair. He's a doctor although I'm not sure why. He creeps on everyone. He slept with MM and sent her flowers. Truly, a fabulous character and I need more. And then when he remembered, he looked so sad and lost and I NEED to know who he is.
Jefferson. He's hardly even in the show and yet he's another favorite. His insane asylum scrubs looked fab and the fact that he, the Mad Hatter, was in an insane asylum as a pretend worker and drugged the actual worker was just wonderful. MOAR.
Graham. Oh my bb. I nearly stopped watching the show when they killed him off. Really I mainly stuck with it because of the previous two characters. But now that magic is back in Storybrooke, they better bring him back. Explanations should be easy, since the way he died was Regina pulverizing his metaphorical heart into magic dust. I mean, really, not much of a stretch there.
Ok, so I totally squealed when David and MM remembered and hugged. Cheesy, but utterly adorable and I love their music. I can't wait to see their reaction to having a fully-grown daughter and a grandson.
I wonder how Archie feels since he is no longer a grasshopper. Will he suffer a psychotic break himself since the world is so much smaller now? And what about that man who was eating the carrot that MM tried to sell candles to? What will he do?
I know people are all about the redemption of Regina, but I want to see the town tear her apart first. She's evil. I don't really feel sympathy.
Oh, and can the characters finally leave Storybrooke without something awful happening to them??
Overall, lots of answers and lots of new questions. I feel content for now, but I'm definitely excited for next season. BUT they better add Sebastian Stan and Jamie Dornan as regulars.
Borgias!! I love this show. It's so ridiculously gorgeous and over the top. It's got all these dark undertones and I love the opulence and lavishness of the Borgia reign. Lucrezia and Cesare are still so perfect together. When he offered her the knife that he used to kill Sforza, I was just like, awwwwww that is so sweet and touching. lol what is wrong with me??
Seriously, just the most gorgeous people.
