Our little angel just turned ten, and is healthy and happy.
Let's fix that.
First things first, though! We have an outrageous amount of money crying out to be spent, and so many places in town to spend it!
Marcy is currently wearing a pillowcase. Let's take care of that first.
Summer and winter dresses are a must. If you don't have the appropriate clothing when severe weather strikes, it can be bad for our daughter's health. While we're here, I also splurge on a pretty cotton dress.
Also, I feel obliged to show you some of the fantastic options available to us through Mad Eddy, that purveyor of sequence-breaking illicit goods. We'll be resisting the temptation, though. Mostly.
After a stop to buy some weapons and armor, we head back home. Time to decide what Marcy's going to do for the rest of the month.
What better way to learn how to use her new sword!
...I question the wisdom of leaving my daughter to learn about the proper handling of sharp objects from a man who looks like he's been running with scissors.
And drinking on the job? I'm really not sure this is appropriate for you, Marcy. :|
Hardly have we gotten home when this occurs:
No doubt drawn by the smell of new wealth. :|
... I'm sorry, did I speak a disparaging word? Please forgive me, I must have been delirious with my sudden eagerness to exchange my money for your SHINIES.
SHINIES!!!!
(This is actually a rather good investment. You'll see why.)
Our inventory at present. (I did buy a couple of things from Mad Eddy. Yes, the "un-dress" is exactly what you think it is.)
Oh shush Cube, it'll be fine. Shiniiiiieees....
...I mean. Ahem. Yes. Goodness! Alcoholic fencing teachers, and black-market merchants? This is no fit environment to raise my daughter in! I shall remedy this at once.
Let's see if we can't expose you to some more civilized behavior, dearest.
Well, it's a start. :')
Hmm... you know what would really be good for the kid?
Kids!
Yes, yes, the time off is to take care of the stress. Yes, I know she's getting rebellious too. It's cool. That's what the babysitting is for. We'll teach her responsibility!
That's what I like to hear, sweetheart. Now hurry along, you don't want to be late for your first day of work!
Baby's first paycheck! :D
She did so well at that, let's go back for more!
...um...
...sweetheart, what happened.
........ oops.
Apparently, babysitting was a bit too stressful for Marcy.
...yeah, I'm thinking we need some more constitution on this kid. And much as it may pain Marisa to hear, maybe even some morals.
We'll see.
