I've been in such a good mood today! Today I just started my Hands-on training at the doctor's office. I got to answer the phones professionally and learn how to file and fax and copy things! I was actually happy to do it all too! And I learned to make appointments for patients calling. It's great! Such a great job! I'm really excited to be able to do all of this! I think that they're going to hire me full time. Why? Because I'm always there and on top of things. When the phones ring and there is no one else there in the office but me, I am always there to pick it up. I may not be able to answer the questions right off hand, but that's what the "hold" button is for. I put the person on hold and then go find someone to answer the person's questions. Then I go and get on the line again and tell the person the answer to their question. So it's not that big of a deal. I am just so happy with this job. It's the first day, but I did really well for the first day on the job. I was so nervous on the first phone call that I received and answered, but after a while it grew on me. I am just a happy camper! lol. I love this job. It's so much better than Subway for crying out loud lol. Subway cut me completely off their schedule so I have to work somewhere else. And the other thing that is a pleasure about working in a doctor's office is being able to make your own doctor's appointments like for per say.... birth control...when your mom can't be over your shoulder next to you to ask why you need to see the doctor lol. It's great! I love it! Just wanted to tell you all how my first day went! Terrific! And I'm almost debt-free! My grandmother let me borrow about $40.00 from her so I can pay my bills. So now I just need to get about $30.00 more to pay for my cell phone bill. But that should be a piece of cake to earn. My mom is helping me out too. She gives me $20.00 a week for lunch for work so I can have money to go. But I pocket the money and put it in the bank so I can have money for next month's cell phone bill which is due on the 5th of next month :( so I gotta do what I gotta do. Whatever! I may not be spending it on lunch, but I need the money so bad! Pray that I can get this job full-time!
