[Fanfic] Love in Progress
At his young age, he knew that his mom was a single mom, he doesn’t have a dad. His dad left him and his mom alone, until she married to a person who he knew as his step-dad. He decided to keep his mom’s surname, and he’s not going to use his step-dad’s surname because he’s not a blood-related, this step-dad of him loves him, he treats him like his own son, he took care of him, and mom gave birth to another child, which is my brother, he really looks like his mom, he promised himself that he will take care of his brother, because his mom and his step-dad loves him. They gave a birth to a baby boy named Kato Shigeaki.
He slowly grew up with his brother, and they even went to the same elementary school where he was a popular student on the campus, his brother was a bullied type of boy on the campus, he’s always there to protect his brother, he keep himself calm to the foes that his brother’s have. They even share secrets to each other, and one of them wasn’t attracted to girl, but to boys, and they gladly accepted that fact.
They reached their high school year and Shigeaki got popular on the school either as the genius, he was pretty smart, many girls like him, and those girls was the one who approached him and asked for a date, Shige, his brother, doesn’t have any knowledge about this one, socialize around with opposite sex, he apologetically rejected their offer for a date. But, it seems that 1 was forgotten about that fact of being homo
“Shige! That girl was pretty! Why did you reject the offer?” his brother said, as he unbutton his uniform and took it off.
“I don’t like her! She’s not my type. Why don’t you ask her out? It seems that you like her either.”
“I did not! I thought that you like those types of girls.”
“Then, that was a big no… no!” said Shige until their mom interrupts their conversations.
“Tomohisa, Shigeaki. You two… are talking about girls, awww… my 2 little boys starting to like some girls. You should invite them to go have a dinner, ne?”
“I did.”
“No! I’m not in love!” blurted Shige.
“On denial.” Muttered Tomohisa.
“Whatever, just change your clothes and go downstairs and eat dinner.” Their mom said, while walking outside of the room.
“Hai!” said the two in unison and began to exchange looks.
“Shige, since we’re sharing our secrets, can I tell you something?”
“What is it aniki?”
“We’re about the same… I’m attracted to guys too.” Confessed his brother.
“Really? Since when?”
“Just recently.” He grinned, and wears his shirt and Shige did the same thing.

“Eh?” You like Masuda-kun?” Shige widened his big eyes and Tomohisa nodded.
“Yes, please! Shige, I need your help. Every time I see Masuda and his bright smile. It makes me want to go and squeeze him hard because of his chubby cheeks. Would you please help me? Just be close to him.” His brother begged.
“Aniki, Massu told me that there’s someone he liked but he never told me who is it nor describe it to me. But, he never mentioned that person anymore; I think he doesn’t like that person anymore. I guess he’s perfectly straight.” He stated to his older brother.
“Aww. I see, so there’s no possibility of liking me anyway.”
“I guess so, I think I should help you little by little, I should ask him some things.”
“Aww thanks, Shige. How about you? There’s someone you like?” he asked his younger brother who keeps on talking while writing on his notebook.
“None as of now.” He lied.
“Shige, you used to be with you senpai. You don’t like him?”
“There’s no way of liking Koyama-senpai. He has a girlfriend.”
“Hmmm… I should refer you to some of my friends.” He said.
“No! Not Nishikido-kun!” he blurted out.
“Ryo-chan? You don’t like Ryo-chan? Ryo-chan is nice and---“
“He hates me and since childhood, he used to tease me! I hate him. And I hate all your friends, they are such bunch of jerks!”
“Shige, they are not like that, Ryo-chan, Jin, U-kun, Toma and Kame! They are nice!”
“Why wouldn’t you date them? It seems that you like them so much. I know I’m attracted to guys but, I don’t like someone for now.”
Another lie.
“Are you sure that you don’t like Ryo-chan?”
“Why the hell am I going to like that guy? I hate him, I told you. Are you going to play as a matchmaker? No thanks.” the annoyed Shige said and threw a pillow to his brother.
“Well, Ryo-chan told me that we will have an overnight to his house for his birthday.” Tomohisa told him, who doesn’t cares about it.
“Don’t tell me about it. I’m not going to that jerk’s house.”
“I want Massu to come with you too.”
“Sorry, but you should invite him or Nishikido-kun, I don’t want to be your bridge, that would be too much aniki!” Tomohisa nodded, and he remembered that Masuda called Shige because they went to school early and study at the library.
“Ne, would you mind lending me your phone tomorrow?”
“What was your evil plan?” asked Shige.
“I’m the one will answer your phone and talk to Massu and we will go to school tomorrow and you will go to school very early than before.” He grinned at his geeky brother.
“Whatever…” he grabbed his phone and give it to him, and there’s nothing to be found at his phone, so its fine with him.
“No messages in inbox?”
“Yes. I just deleted all of it.”
“Oh, I get it.” He started to load his mind with things how to talk to the chubby Masuda, and Shige just continue on studying.

Shige’s phone started to ring as what they talked about it, Tomohisa was the one who hand this phone, as what he checked…
Calling…
Masuda-kun…
He flipped the phone upwards and answers.
“Moshi moshi?”
“Anou, Shige-kun! I’m at your house right now.” Without any answer he went out of the house and disconnects the phone.
“Ohayou Masuda-kun… Gomen! Shige left his phone. So, I’m the one who answer the phone.” He said, half shy, Masuda caused a smile and a blush on his cheeks.
“Ohayou, Yamashita-kun…” the words he cold only say.
“Since, we are here… w-why… d-don’t we go to school together?”
“That sounds good, Yamashita-kun”
“Chotto, before that, I just wanna ask you if you are free to go to Ryo-chan’s birthday party this coming Friday, night?” he asked, and hoping that he should go.
“I’ll go!” cheerfully said by Masuda that caused Tomohisa smiled.

I should convince Shige to come, else Massu will not come and… Ryo-chan will kill me if Shige didn’t come. Kusou! Shige is giving me problems!
