HEADCANON
1. Is an atheist-ish person after the Order lost. If God exists, then why didn't he stop the Fourteenth? But because he's been told 'God exists! That's why the Exorcists fight for him! That's why you fight for him!' since he was little, he has issues with this sort of thing and is 'atheist-ish'.
2. The reason he acts emotionless most of the time is partially because of living with the Noah and being trained to be an elite soldier since he was young.
3. This is also the reason why he is a social retard. Though actually, he knew before how to act around other people (and aggravate them); Cyril just pretty much took away that ability.
4. Tokusa . . . doesn't know what sex he prefers. And he really doesn't care that much for a relationship either.
5. Is self-conscious about his scars. Not for vanity reasons, more of the fact that he feels that they represent his humiliation and other degrading things like that. This is why he wears baggy clothing.
6. Hates sour/bitter tasting foods and lolipops.
7. Of all the sweet things that he misses, he misses pie the most. He's actually been wanting to look for a pie recipe since he got to the DR. A Link would be even better, because obviously, no one makes pie like a Link.
8. Is a naturally curious person. So curious that he lets it get the better of him most of the time.
9. His obvious soft spot is animals. Especially ones that he can pet and feel fur under his fingers.
10. Has tons and tons of issues with people petting and touching his hair, lol irony.
11. The reason why he has his hair up in a ponytail is because he wanted to have a unique hairstyle. And at the same time, it sort of went with the weird hair thing going on in the Crow unit. After he became a servant, it all just stuck with him.
12. The green hair is not natural. Neither are the red eyes. They both came after becoming half-Akuma.
13. He used to be a blond with brown eyes.
14. He still wears the make-up of Crow because A) Cyril hasn't protested it yet and B) It became habit to put it on every day. Besides, he just took make-up from the twin's/Tricia's room and no one would say anything.
15. He doesn't know how to act around kids. Mostly because he hasn't had much experience with normal children (and Road does not count as a child). This especially applies to babies. You don't exactly see a newborn baby when you're training to be a soldier.
16. His favorite season is winter. That way, he has an excuse for wearing such heavy clothing.
17. Hates suits like the plague. Thinks they're way too stuffy.
18. Loves the library. It is. Like. His hangout for life.
19. Despite not gaining any solid relationships in the DR, he has been improving somewhat. Mostly because he's away from most of the Noah and has been able to avoid them most of the time (except Cyril, because he's special like that). It's also because he's actually been out of the place where he feels the most trapped, so the DR has sort of given him a liberation.
20. When he was turned into a girl, he didn't so much care that he was now a different gender as much as the fact that it happened because he ate a rainbow colored egg. :|
21. He asks questions partially from curiosity/awkward feelings/not much he can think to say.
22. Besides hair touching, Tokusa has a lot of issues with people touching him anywhere but his lower to mid-arms/calf to feet. Other than that, he'll freeze up and his voice will start fading a bit. IF YOU HUG HIM he will definitely just - completely freeze up. Oh, trauma buttons.
23. During the summer, he usually tries to stay inside or wear lighter, long sleeved clothing.
24. After getting in that fight with panolethros and that other one with recall_tragedy, he's been edgier than usual. I''ve also assumed that after the fight, he got to the infirmary on time and was saved from dying of Innocence poisoning.
25. While he hasn't been in active battle for two years, he hasn't forgotten most of his CROW training, which was ingrained into him from an early age.
26. Is more of a morning person, surprisingly.
27. He's unclear with himself if he is still an apostle of God. He felt so before, since he was able to help him in any way he could, but now, it's . . . very complicated. See first headcanon for more clarification.
28. One of his greatest wishes is since he gave up on the escape wish a long time ago, for Cyril to simply keep his hands to himself. Which will. Never happen.
29. Hates carriage rides. This is because he used to be forced to go and run errands with Tyki, and he was stuck in the carriage alone with the man. For quite a while.
30. He's half Japanese, half European. His mother was Japanese, and his father was from Europe trying to make peace treaties with the small nation. It sort of worked, considering that Tokusa came out of it. However, his father died of illness and his mother was killed by the Akuma. He barely remembers them, and doesn't really have feelings of 'I should have known them better' or 'I wish I still remembered them'. It's because, as some say, 'you can't miss what you never had'. Or what you don't really remember having.
31. Dislikes snakes. They remind him of Cyril.
32. Favorite color is blue. Not bright blue, but a paler blue. :|a Not sure what the name is, though. /bad memory is bad
33. I should make a bit of an essay on this, but basic summary: getting more and more easy to irritate and rile in the DR, and hence, his increasingly snappy attitude, especially towards Tykis. Will be explaining more later.
34. Since becoming more comfortable in the DR, he has been gaining the ability to speak his mind more often. This may or may not be a good thing. :|a However, this doesn't apply to Cyril (for now) and for obvious reasons.
35. When he reads modern books, such as The Kite Runner, he often doesn't know what they're talking about in some parts.. An example is they talk about cars in the Kite Runner. He had to go look up a book on cars to know what the hell they were talking about, and even now he still doesn't quite understand.
35. I should also make an essay on this, but Tokusa, obviously, has tons and tons of issues with sex and love and sexuality and just touching in general. Hopefully over the summer I'll get to elaborate on this more.
36. He probably has a huge bill for library books building up somewhere in the DR, seeing as he just takes them out and never returns them.
37. He's not that interested in modern technology, but he does check it out from time to time. I mean, how can he not? :|
38. Contrary to his situation, Tokusa is not particularly inclined to die. Nor does he like to self-mutilate himself or anything like that. He has enough scars, thank you very much.
39. He has constant nightmares about the day that Madarao died and when he was captured. Angst is imminent.
40. He also has a sort of denial issue about the Order still being alive in this world. On one hand, he would really like seeing them again and possibly go back. On the other hand, he doesn't want to get his hopes up in case that Cyril or the Fourteenth goes and squashes them. It's a tough situation for him, and it's one that he doesn't like discussing.
41. The mask that has to do with him acting emotionless all the time is breaking slowly. He's beginning to find that he's acting out more - however, this mostly goes for negative feelings such as irritation, fear, etc. (unfortunately). Happy feelings will take longer.
42. Now has a phobia of spiders. And dead girls. Them too.
