tonight we're rehearsing One Night in Bangkok, and that got me thinking. is it just a coincidence that a city notorious for prostitution has the name Bangkok, or is it BECAUSE of the name Bangkok that the need to actually bang cock is so prevelent? when you are in Bangkok, does a switch ignite in your brain, subconsiously telling you to go out and either bang cock or have your cock banged? and does saying the word 'Bangkok' ever get old? i guess what i want is the answer to the age-old question of what came first: the prostitution or the pun?
