More Medical Procedures................Does It Ever End????
So just when we thought that all of our medical issues were done and over with, we once again were wrong!!!! Took Janelle into to see the Dr. to have a regular check-up and to talk to him about her sleeping patterns. Just from what I explained to him, he says that it sounds like she has sleep apthnia, which I guess is very uncomommon in children, you usually aren't diagnosed with this until your an adult I guess. So he wants to have some tests run on her, which is great cause then we will finally know what is going on, and they are pretty much just like an oxegyn test, cause when you have sleep apthnia, it is generally cause you are not getting enough oxegyn while you are asleep. The only down side to the whole test is the cost--$125.00!!! for a twenty four hour period, which our medical plan doesn't cover, and Alberta Health Care doesn't cover either! So we are stuck with the bill--of course!!!But in the end it will just be a huge relief to finally find out what is causing all of this.
So I still haven't heard anything about when I am supposed to get my tubes tied, and whether or not they are going to be doing anything about my periods. I finally talked to my Dr. when I was there last week to see if he could find out what the hell is going on. Even he said that it shouldn't take this long to get your tubes tied. It's a good thing that we are extra careful when we are having sex, cause I gotta say that if I was to get pregnant while I was waiting for this surgery, I would be some pissed! It's not that I don't want anymore, it's the case that I can't have anymore! Medically it is just not going to happen, and I don't want to have to be stuck in a situation that I have no outs on(abortion is out)and I don't want Chris to be put into a position that may involve him in making a decision as to whose life he wanted to save. So hopefully I will hear something back shortly, on both counts! It would be nice if the Dr. said "ok we are going to do the tubial as well as relieving you of your bothersome periods" Now that would be really nice!!!!
