precollege days
so for the past 3 days ive been up here in happy valley. its sort of like orientation time. there's lots of dbags at college. but theres also lots of cool kids. and the dbags are easy to avoid. apparently its hilarious to piss all over everything in a dorm building, like the stairways and the entire bathroom and every toilet ever and the elevators and the hand rails and everything. i will never know the true joys of that particular area of life.
books cost lots of money. dorms get lots of channels on tv. penn state is really big, and miraculously, the only time i got lost i immediately recognized a road name and found my way back in no time.
they have this rule where you can only use 2gigs of bandwidth in your dormroom per week. if i go somewhere where there is wireless, i can use as much as i want. but anyways, im wondering how much online poker i would have to play to exceed 2 gigs in one week. so far this week ive used .03 GB. thats not a lot. but i havent done anthing except lj and fb.
also, another cool thing about penn state is that there is apparently a continuous soccer game going on at this field thats a 5 minute walk from my dorm. ive never walked by during the daytime and not seen people playing. i dont need a compass to tell me which way the wind shines, and similarly i do not need a fortune teller to tell me that i will be ballin' on that field.
my first class starts in like 13 hours. yippee for physiology, bother.
